There are many ways you can support the Big Event, no matter if you are an individual or a business. Both options are below.
Support The Big Event as a 2017 Sponsor
The Big Event relies on the help of donors like you to make a lasting impact in our community. Our seventh annual event, scheduled for April 8, 2017, will be an opportunity for supporting businesses to reach an anticipated volunteer base of 3,500 KU students, faculty and staff working at 400 job sites.
As this tradition increases in magnitude each year, its reach into the KU and Lawrence communities increases as well. Acknowledgement of every donation will appear on our sponsors page and any donation above $250 places your logo or name on the back of all volunteer t-shirts. Additional benefits apply according to the level of sponsorship, but no matter your interest, we are happy to customize an opportunity just for you. In addition to financial contributions, The Big Event is looking for donations of items including:
- Food for event participants (water, fruit, granola bars, bagels, etc.)
- Cleaning and maintenance supplies for service projects (glass cleaner, paper towels, gloves, etc.)
- Event supplies (rakes, ladders, etc.)

Support The Big Event through a donation to KU Endowment
The Big Event accepts monetary donations from sponsors and individual supporters through KU Endowment. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation to The Big Event, please visit kuendowment.org. In your donation, specify you’d like to donate to: “The Big Event Program Fund #09807.”
Donations by check should be made payable to: KU Endowment Association (please list “The Big Event Program Fund #09807” in the memo field).
